Qloc Internal R&D- Horse Head

R&D Project:
Interactive horse head recorded in Unreal Engine 5.
It has a game-ready topology with a simple rig, keyframed animations (idle, two actions), and poses setup (additive anims for ears, nose, and lookouts).
We use Substance generated rotation map for anisotropy fur material. We implemented a partially simulated groom (mane, fringe) with optional non-physical closeup details like vellus hair on the cheeks and neck.
The base fur material is a Substance generated with help of the flow map and could be further detailed.

This is the work of a strike team consisting of 3d artists, Tech Artists, Animators, and Houdini Specialists.
